Toilet Clogs

If your toilet clogs, the first step is to turn off the water supply to the toilet by closing the valve located behind the toilet. This will prevent the toilet from overflowing. Next, use a plunger to try to dislodge the blockage. If that doesn't work, try using a toilet auger, which is a specialized tool designed to clear clogs in toilets.

Sink / Shower Clogs

If your sink or shower drain is clogged, the first step is to try using a plunger to remove the blockage. If that doesn't work, try pouring boiling water down the drain, as this can help to loosen and flush out the clog. You can also try using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar, followed by hot water.

It's important to avoid using chemical drain cleaners, as they can be harmful to your plumbing system and your health. If the clog persists, get in touch with us.

No Electrical Power

If you lose electrical power in your home, the first step is to check if the outage is affecting your entire neighborhood or just your home. If it's just your home, check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit has tripped or a fuse has blown. Resetting the circuit or replacing the fuse may solve the problem. If that doesn't work, try unplugging all appliances and turning off all switches, then turning them back on one by one. If the power outage is affecting your entire neighborhood, contact your power company to report the outage and get an estimated time for restoration of power.

Hot Water Outages

If you lose hot water in your home, the first step is to check the pilot light on your water heater. If it's out, follow the manufacturer's instructions to relight it. If the pilot light is on but you still don't have hot water, check the temperature setting on the thermostat to make sure it's set high enough. If the temperature setting is correct and you still don't have hot water, it may be a problem with the heating element or thermostat.

HVAC Issues

If your A/C or heat isn't working, the first step is to check the thermostat to ensure it's set to the correct temperature and mode.

If that doesn't solve the issue, check the circuit breaker to make sure it hasn't tripped. If the breaker appears to be fine, then it's time to check the air filter. A dirty air filter can cause the system to malfunction.

If the air filter is clean and the problem persists, it's best to submit a repair request.
