You are responsible for placing utilities in your name immediately after signing your lease; you must also keep these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms of the lease. Refer to the lease to determine your legal move-out date; you are responsible for paying rent through that date, regardless of when you move.

Property Condition

Before you hand in the keys for your rental, please be sure to take care of the following:

Rental Cleaning: Cleaning your rental home before you move out is an essential step to ensure you receive your security deposit back in full. Start by removing all personal belongings and disposing of any trash or unwanted items. Dust all surfaces, including baseboards, light fixtures, and ceiling fans. Clean windows, mirrors, and any glass surfaces with a glass cleaner. Scrub the bathroom, including the toilet, sink, shower, and tub. Sweep and mop all floors, and vacuum any carpets. Finally, don't forget to clean the kitchen, including the stove, oven, refrigerator, and cabinets. Be sure to leave the rental home in the same condition it was when you moved in to ensure a smooth move-out process.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, make the necessary repairs before moving out. This may include patching nail and screw holes, repainting stained walls, and replacing broken glass.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit will be returned to you as soon as possible after you vacate the premises.

We will perform a final inspection to identify any damage and make the necessary repairs. The costs for these repairs will be deducted from your deposit and the remainder will be returned to you.
